Dr János Kóka – Chairman of the Board of Directors and Chief Executive Officer

He graduated at the Semmelweis University, Faculty of General Medicine. From 1996 he served as Managing Director of Elender Computer Kft., then from 1998 as CEO of Elender Informatics Rt. From 1999 he was Country Manager, then from 2000 European Vice President of Business Development at PSINet Inc. In 2000 he was awarded ’The IT Manager of the Year’ founded by the Association of IT Companies.

From July 2000 he continued his career as Chairman of the Board of Webigen Rt., then from October 2002 as CEO of Elender Business Communications. In 2004 he was elected President of Euroweb Internet Service Provider Rt. From March 2003 until October 2004 was President of the Hungarian Association of IT Companies (IVSZ). From 2003 prior to his ministerial appointment he served as Member of the Board of EICTA (European ICT Association) based in Brussels, and Chairman of the Hungarian-Indonesian Joint Business Council.

In October 2004 he was appointed as Minister of Economy and Transport, supported by SZDSZ (Alliance of Free Democrats). During this period his main tasks included the development of business-friendly environment, stimulating the growth of corporate sector, strengthening the knowledge-based economy and increasing international presence of domestic business. In June 2006 he was reappointed as Minister of Economy and Transport. Between 2007-2008 he was President of the Liberal Party, until 2010 parliamentary group leader, member of the Budget Committee, Chairman of the Nabucco Committee, aiming to reduce the country’s reliance on Russian gas.

After breaking up with political activities in 2010 he returned to business life. First he was involved in the reorganization of Cellum Groups as consultant, and then in 2011, he was elected Chairman and CEO of Cellum Global Zrt., established with the aim of international expansion.



 

Balázs Inotay – Strategy Director

He graduated at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences in 1992. From 1996 as Microsoft Regional Development Manager was responsible for regional development activities and professional management in Hungary. As CEO of CompuWorx. Rt. he participated in the development and introduction of Hungarian student ID chip card system, the SuperShop loyalty card system and MOL's customer loyalty program. From 2000 he has been CEO and President of present Cellum Zrt. and from 2004 CEO of MPP Zrt. operating mobile commerce platform as well.

 



 

László Kozma – Chief Operating Officer, Chief Financial Officer

He graduated at the Budapest University of Economic Sciences , specialized in finance and company valuation. During his academic years he was member of Bibó István College for Advanced Studies. Between 1995-2005 he served as Management Consultant for IFUA Horváth & Partners Kft. dealing with corporate strategy, control systems and company valuation. Between 2005-2006 he was Chief Controller of Transelektro Group, Member of the Board of Transelektro Energy Zrt. From 2006 as portfolio manager of Saxum Investments Zrt. was responsible for company valuation, venture capital investments and corporate finance. In recent years he gained significant experience in the field of real estate investments, renewable energy and innovative IT projects. Among others he participated in transactions related to Cellum Group as well.



 

Szilárd Óvári – Project Director

After graduating at the Budapest University of Technology he obtained his degree as engineer-economist at the Corvinus University in Budapest. In 2003 he started his career as software developer at Grepton Zrt., then continued at Multisoft Kft. From 2006 he has been serving first as IT business analyst, then as Chief Operating Officer. As Project Director, he is currently responsible for the key account management of the company.

 



 

Zoltán Ács – Research and Development Director

He graduated at the University of Veszprém in engineering and information technology, then in economics at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics in 2010. He is manager dealing with operation and development of IT and telecommunications systems. From 2006 he has been leading the operation and development of mobile commerce systems of Cellum Zrt. and MPP Zrt.

 



 

Jeff McAllister – VP International Sales

Jeff is a native of Madison, Wisconsin, USA and has been a European resident for the past 18 years, living in Budapest, Prague, Warsaw, Brussels and Vienna. He has a B.A. in Journalism and Public Relations from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. He had a 10 year career in the telecom industry with GTE (now Verizon), starting in Minneapolis and then was responsible for two European start-ups in Belgium and Hungary. After the merger with Bell Atlantic to become Verizion, Jeff left GTE to become the CEO of New World Publishing, the owner of the Budapest, Prague and Warsaw Business Journals. He returned to the telecom industry as the Director of Business Development for Alcatel-Lucent in Hungary and has applied his love of history to many side projects including writing, directing and producing his own documentary. He now applies his vast range of business experience and energy to Cellum. Jeff is 48 years old, married with three children and lives in Budapest, Hungary.



 

Dr. Péter Oszkó

Péter Oszkó is a financial specialist; he holds a law degree and is a certified tax expert.

He started his career as a tax consultant with KPMG, and then joined the company’s London office as a member of the team offering consulting services to financial institutions. Later, he joined the international law firm Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer. He joined the Hungarian branch of Deloitte as a partner in 2004. From 2006, he oversaw the company's tax consultancy division; in 2007, he became president and CEO of Deloitte Hungary.

He also headed the consultancy divisions of several other countries in the region.

During his career, he has dealt with some of the biggest corporations in the financial and the energy sectors, telecommunications, media and technology, real estate, biotechnology and the pharmaceuticals industry, as well as a host of other large companies. He assumed a leading role in several business acquisitions, in the business and financial processes of corporate transformations, and in developing contractual terms for the companies involved. In recognition of his successes in business, finances, corporate leadership and process management, he was chosen Young Manager of the Year in 2008.

From April 2009 until the 2010 national elections, he served as Minister of Finance in the technocrat government of the Republic of Hungary. His tasks included managing the financial crisis, with a specific focus on the transformation of the state budget and tax structures, the renewal of the pension and social support systems, restoring the market financing of the state budget, the oversight of state asset transactions, as well as conducting negotiations with international financial institutions and inter-governmental economic bodies.

In October 2010, Oszko was appointed CEO-President of PortfoLion Venture Capital Fund Management plc, a member of the OTP Group. The strategic goal of PortfoLion is to become the leading venture capital investor of the CEE region within five years. Under Oszkó’s management the team seeks to work with companies in the early stages of their operation to achieve strong market positions through unique and innovative solutions, thus showing excellent growth potential.

Oszkó has published and presented widely in practically all fields of finances, taxation, budget and economic policy as well as corporate leadership and management.
